Youth and sports minister, FAO officials discuss cooperation.

Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, held a meeting with fAO officials of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations “FAO” to discuss joint cooperation between the ministry and the organization regarding agricultural training for young people in various youth centers at the level of the governorates of the Republic.
The meeting followed up ways of boosting cooperation between the Ministry and the organization regarding the establishment of agricultural clubs in youth centers aimed at education, guidance and studies for youth in various governorates under the name “Agricultural Club”, working on a cooperation protocol and a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the FAO and the Ministry of Agriculture in this regard, and the introduction of the agricultural field in Developed program and more.
In this context, the Minister of Youth and Sports dr. Ashraf sobhy asserted that the ministry keens on cooperating closely with United Nations organizations in Egypt in order to achieve more youth contribution and empowerment.
Pointed out to a set of packages of integrated projects and ambitious plans in Egypt with the aim of empowering youth in various political, economic, social and cultural fields. And sports and development, all of which work in light of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
Sobhi also lauded the great interest in cooperation with the FAO specially agricultural training for youth in various youth centres at the level of the governorates of the Republic, as the future lies in agriculture and food insurance in light of the successive global crises and the work of all countries of the world on self-sufficiency and food insurance, in addition to the different nature of the market and investment in farms projects of all sizes.

president El sisi put youth at the forefront of the ranks and their issues, needs and requirements topped the national action agenda, and thanks to that care and this support they became one of the most important targets of the comprehensive development programs that Egypt is currently experiencing.”sobhi said.
On the other hand, Dr. Nasr El-Deem Haj El-Amin, FAO Representative in Egypt, expressed his great happiness at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, noting that working with youth is among the priorities and concerns of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations “FAO” during the coming period.
The meeting was attended by the organization, Dr. Nasr El-Dim Haj El-Amin, Representative of the FAO in Egypt, Dr. Mohamed Yacoub, Assistant Representative of the FAO, Dr. Tony Al-Atl, Programs Coordinator, Dr. Dalia Aboul Fotouh, Economic and Youth Programs Officer at the Regional Office for the Near East and North Africa, Rawia El-Dabi, Communication Specialist, And from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Dr. Abdullah Al-Batsh, Assistant Minister for Youth Policies and Development, Manal Gamal, Head of the Central Administration for Youth Empowerment, Dr. Mustafa Magdi, Assistant Minister for Youth Policies and Development.
