General Muhammed Zaki, Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces and the Minister of Defense and Military Production, and his accompanying delegation returned home after the end of his official visit to the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The visit began with the official reception ceremonies and an ispection of the Guards of Honor and the national anthem of both countries.
General Muhammed Zaki, Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, met his Congolese counterpart Dr/ Kapanda Pakornga, the Minister of National Defense and Veterans’ War, where the meeting included a discussion of a number of issues of common interest in various military fields.
General Muhammed Zaki, during the meeting, expressed his pride in the joint Egyptian Congolese relations and the importance of continuing coordination, joint work and strengthening the cooperation bonds and support in military cooperation fields to achieve the common interests between both countries.
At the end of the meeting, both sides signed a cooperation protocol between the Armed Forces of both countries.
General Muhammed Zaki also met Mr / Jean Michel Sama Lukonde, Prime Minister of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where he expressed his aspiration that the next stage would witness a consensus on the visions regarding the common challenges and the developments of regional situation, cross-border security challenges and the issues affecting the national security of both sides.
